Position Overview:
Based in the Bay Area (San Jose/East Bay/Peninsula) and reporting directly to the Associate Director of Integrated Special Education, the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will play a pivotal role in implementing and coaching highly personalized Behavior Intervention Plans for a select group of students in special education who have not benefited from previous behavior support strategies. This role emphasizes educational impact over clinical practices.

The BCBA will support multiple school sites, including locations in San Jose, Redwood City, Concord, and Antioch. Collaboration with school psychologists, wellness counselors, special education case managers, school leaders, and program specialists will be essential for the ongoing implementation and coaching of student support plans to ensure their success. Additionally, the BCBA will lead training initiatives to develop staff competencies and foster a shared understanding of implementation strategies. Responsibilities may also include crisis support and the development of safety plans for students facing significant safety concerns, as well as involvement in IEP-level support and collaboration.

This position requires prior experience working with students with emotional and behavioral challenges and a commitment to serving students with a desire to think critically and creatively about supporting challenging behaviors within general education settings.

The starting salary for this position is $80,000.
