About the job

Daybreak Health is hiring bilingual associate clinicians (LMHCA or LCSWA) to provide remote mental health services in North Carolina. This part-time W2 position centers on supporting K–12 students in the Morganton and Hickory areas, where there is a large Guatemalan Mayan community with a strong need for culturally informed care. The role is fully remote, with work hours in the afternoons and evenings, Monday through Friday.

What you will do

  • Provide evidence-based teletherapy to K–12 students across North Carolina
  • Collaborate with school counselors and families to promote student well-being
  • Attend weekly individual and group supervision sessions
  • Focus solely on therapy, no billing, credentialing, or administrative tasks required

  • Guaranteed pay: Compensation is provided for late cancellations and no-shows
  • Competitive rates: $35/hour for individual sessions (12+ clients), $45/hour for family therapy

  • Afternoon and evening shifts available Monday through Friday (3 PM to 8 PM)

Requirements

  • Fluency in both Spanish and English
  • Current LMHCA or LCSWA license in North Carolina
  • Experience with or a strong connection to Latin American cultures
  • Interest in supporting students who may have limited access to culturally sensitive care
