Key Responsibilities:Review and manage verification cases for both new and existing merchants, ensuring timely and accurate onboarding. Achieve daily case targets to enhance team performance and minimize market backlogs. Learn and utilize SumUp's onboarding procedures and internal tools, with guidance from senior agents and quality assurance teams. Collaborate with Team Leads and Group Leads to escalate complex cases and continuously enhance your knowledge. Ideal Candidate Profile:Proficient in Spanish/Portuguese and English, both written and spoken, at a high level. Experience in customer support, KYC, or compliance is advantageous, though not mandatory. Comfortable using digital tools and databases regularly. Motivated to learn new processes and adaptable to change. Strong attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward task completion.

As a Bilingual Onboarding Agent, you will play a critical role in supporting the verification process for our clients, primarily small to medium-sized businesses across Europe. The Onboarding team is committed to upholding the highest compliance standards and ensuring adherence to all relevant AML regulations.

This position involves providing client support exclusively through non-voice communication (no phone) during flexible daytime hours.
