Join our dynamic team as an AWS Network Engineer, where you'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and high-availability cloud network infrastructures tailored to our clients' needs. Collaborate with project teams, system integrators, vendors, and cybersecurity experts to ensure that AWS network solutions are reliable, secure, and compliant with industry standards.
Your expertise will be pivotal in enhancing our clients' infrastructure through robust cloud connectivity and strategic network design.
Core Responsibilities:
- Architect, deploy, and manage AWS Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) environments, including subnets, route tables, security groups, network access control lists, Transit Gateways, Route 53 (DNS), and PrivateLink, adhering to client standards.
- Configure and maintain hybrid cloud connectivity solutions such as AWS Direct Connect, Gateways, Site-to-Site VPN, and Transit Gateway to ensure seamless integration between on-premises data centers and AWS environments.
- Oversee DNS and DHCP network services configuration and management.
- Implement Network Load Balancing and Traffic Management with AWS ELB, NLB, ALB, CloudFront, and Nginx to optimize traffic flow, reduce latency, and ensure high availability for distributed applications.
- Enforce network security measures in line with the client's security policies to protect confidentiality and integrity of data and systems.
- Manage Firewalls and Security Appliances, including Palo Alto Firewalls and cloud-native firewalls like AWS WAF.
- Lead incident response efforts, collaborating with vendors and project teams for swift resolutions.
- Provide expert network support for internet-facing applications, facilitating smooth deployments and troubleshooting any issues.
- Work closely with cloud architects, cybersecurity teams, and DevOps engineers to create secure and resilient cloud network topologies.
- Leverage network automation and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, and AWS CloudFormation.
- Monitor and enhance network performance using AWS CloudWatch, VPC Flow Logs, CloudTrail, and other monitoring solutions.
- Offer technical support for Windows and Linux EC2 servers, assisting with provisioning, configuration, scripting, and troubleshooting.
- Maintain comprehensive network documentation, topology diagrams, operational procedures, and best practices in compliance with audit and change management protocols.
- Stay abreast of advancements in AWS networking, GovTech cloud policies, and cybersecurity directives to propose ongoing improvements.
