Position Overview
As an Automotive Body Technician, you will be an integral part of our growing team responsible for overseeing all repair and repainting activities for our fleet of vehicles in Italy. This role includes damage assessment, panel beating, welding, painting, and quality control to ensure that all vehicles meet our company's safety, aesthetic, and quality standards. Your hands-on experience will be crucial in maintaining fleet readiness and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess vehicle body damage and estimate repair needs.
- Perform panel beating, welding, sanding, and finishing work.
- Collaborate with mechanics and painters within the company to ensure high-quality repairs.
- Conduct quality checks on repaired vehicles.
- Maintain repair schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations throughout all repair processes.
- Ensure compliance with Italian automotive body standards and regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a body technician, panel beater, or similar role, preferably with at least 1 year of hands-on experience in automotive body repair.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle body structures, materials, and repair techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations in automotive repair.
