Conduct regular reviews of loan pool quality, focusing on underwriting standards, adherence to credit policies, collateral adequacy, and borrower performance trends. Examine credit files to assess borrower financial stability, cash flow capacity, and collateral quality, identifying potential weaknesses that may affect future debt servicing. Periodically review loan portfolios with varying characteristics to ensure consistent and appropriate risk grading, making timely adjustments as necessary. Collaborate with senior management to develop strategies that enhance credit risk management practices.

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Audit Manager to spearhead and further develop our credit risk audit program.

Position Overview:

The Audit Manager will oversee a comprehensive credit audit program aimed at ensuring the quality of our portfolio assets and promoting effective credit administration practices. A key responsibility will include identifying credit activities that may pose heightened business risks. This role involves planning and executing both horizontal and targeted reviews to evaluate the effectiveness of credit management activities. Success in this position will leverage relevant experience and apply risk-based auditing principles, which include implementing sound testing strategies and analyzing data to detect systemic weaknesses. A deep understanding of credit administration processes and applicable Banking Laws, Regulations, and guidance is essential. The Audit Manager will also drive compliance with interagency guidance and best practices in credit risk management while collaborating closely with senior management. Presentational skills are crucial as this role will entail providing regular reports on findings and necessary corrective actions to leadership and the bank's Directors.
