Key Responsibilities: Capital Project Management: Coordinate project team efforts with clear statements of work, defined deliverables, and approved charters. Create Gantt charts and work breakdown structures as needed for effective project management and reporting. Uphold project management policies, procedures, and standards across all associated activities. Vendor and Contract Management: Manage the preparation and oversight of essential contracts that support the projects. Control project timelines, deliverables, and budgets while identifying, managing, and communicating risks effectively. Ensure that contracts include provisions for risk management and mitigation. Team and Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary communication hub for all project-related updates and details. Regularly engage with vendors, customers, and all stakeholders to provide updates. Act as a liaison between senior leadership, project teams, and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and resolve any conflicts. Financial Reporting and Risk Management: Collaborate with finance and project controllers to provide regular updates on project budgets.

Position Overview

The Associate Project Manager will play a pivotal role in facilitating communication among project team members, key stakeholders, and organizational leadership. This position involves orchestrating activities on-site to ensure the acceptance of contracted requirements for deliverables and services that underpin our capital and revenue projects. Experience in startup environments or resource-constrained settings is highly beneficial. The project teams will be cross-functional, leveraging technical resources for the management of vendors associated with advanced reactor systems, validating requirements, and ensuring the acceptance of deliverables. A blend of creativity and a thorough understanding of risk management is highly valued. An engineering degree is preferred, and technical management experience is a must. A strong grasp of quality assurance standards is critical.

This role requires the candidate to work on-site in Austin, Texas and to be available for collaboration with remote team members.
