The Role
Join AlphaSights as an Associate Product Marketing Manager (APMM) and take charge of product marketing initiatives within a specific technology domain. You will collaborate with Product Managers (PMs) to maximize user value from our technology offerings. Your role will involve close collaboration with Product Managers and Product Analysts on new initiatives from pre-beta stages through to post-release evaluation. You will oversee release planning, including communications, educational content creation, and collection of post-release feedback. Your goal will be to generate enthusiasm and awareness for upcoming features within your user base while diligently ensuring your features contribute to AlphaSights' overall success. This position is part of our product organization and reports to a Lead Product Marketing Manager.
What You Will Do
- Develop Product Domain Expertise: Gain a deep understanding of specific product areas, addressing their objectives, challenges, and opportunities, while serving as a vital link between the Product team and stakeholders. You will be recognized as an expert in your domain and handle inquiries regarding technical functionality, clearly articulating the business impact of forthcoming changes.
- Lead Go-to-Market Strategies: Drive the design and implementation of product launch strategies, working closely with product teams to ensure impactful introductions of new products. You will facilitate a smooth transition from product development to launch and adoption, utilizing insights from prior releases to shape strategies and communications for future initiatives.
- User Education Initiatives: Create and execute comprehensive user education plans, which may include digital walkthroughs, live demonstrations, and written resources, ensuring users are well-equipped to utilize new features.
- Collaborative Engagement: Work with various teams within and outside the technology department, establishing yourself as a key figure in conveying product functionality and defining release strategies.
- Collect and Synthesize User Feedback: Implement structured methodologies for gathering, analyzing, and acting on user feedback to guide product enhancements. Collaborate effectively with Product Managers to align product development with user needs and experiences.
- Continued Adoption Strategies: Leverage qualitative and quantitative insights to formulate and implement strategies that promote ongoing product adoption.
