Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related field. A graduate degree in quantity surveying, cost management, construction management, or engineering is preferred. At least 8 years of relevant experience in a scheduling role within the construction industry. Demonstrated experience in complex, fast-paced environments requiring proactive coordination among multiple stakeholders. Proficient in network planning structures and techniques, with hands-on experience using Primavera Project Planner 6.0 or above and Microsoft Project. Ability to support broader business initiatives, including responding to RFPs. Excellent presentation, verbal, written, organizational, and communication skills.

Turner & Townsend is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Associate Director - Scheduler to join our dynamic team. This role requires exceptional leadership qualities and a demonstrated history of effectively managing schedules for complex projects within the semiconductor construction sector.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Optimize resource allocation within an integrated planning, cost, and risk framework to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Adhere to established planning and scheduling methodologies during the development of project schedules.
  • Create and maintain Project Milestone and Progress tracking baselines.
  • Evaluate subcontractor alignment with the defined scheduling methodologies.
  • Assist in developing the Work Breakdown Structure to enhance project performance measurement.
  • Analyze scheduling data to identify trends and issues, communicating findings to the Project Director and team.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders regarding project timelines.
  • Mentor and coach the planning team to foster professional growth.
  • Lead schedule reporting, including forecasts and contingency management for specific work packages.
  • Timely update and analyze schedules, ensuring compliance with contractor schedules and integrated milestones.
  • Assess resource needs and availability, recommending recovery options as necessary.
  • Adhere to SOX control responsibilities as applicable.
