About the Role

The Associate/Director of Account Management plays a pivotal role as a customer-centric leader at Madison Energy Infrastructure (MEI). You will be responsible for fostering and nurturing relationships with our current clients, ensuring their needs are met while also identifying new avenues for growth. This position is integral to the Account Management team, focusing on two primary outcomes: achieving outstanding customer satisfaction and generating new business opportunities from our established client base.

Your role will involve a harmonious blend of direct customer engagement and internal coordination. Expect to spend approximately 20% of your time traveling to meet with clients, strengthening partnerships, discovering new opportunities, and driving business development initiatives. Internally, you will act as the main liaison for customer inquiries, ensuring that finance, asset management, billing, legal, marketing, and other departments align to address customer needs effectively.

This position offers significant visibility within the organization, requiring close collaboration with Marketing and the Senior Leadership Team to translate client insights into compelling narratives that enhance MEI's understanding of customer value and support our mutual growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, ensuring a seamless and trusted experience through regular engagement and in-person interactions.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Proactively address client needs, questions, and issues with timely and thoughtful responses, fostering high satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
  • Internal Coordination: Convert customer demands and priorities into actionable internal tasks, ensuring effective communication and follow-through across various teams.
  • Business Development: Identify and cultivate new opportunities within existing accounts, collaborating with internal teams to propel opportunities from concept to proposal.
  • Proposal and Feasibility Support: Guide customer interests through MEI’s feasibility assessment process, aiding in the development of proposals tailored to client objectives.
  • Customer Insights and Storytelling: Work closely with the Marketing team to share customer stories and insights that drive MEI’s strategic understanding and engagement.
