About the Team
The Southeast Asia Private Markets group at Gerson Lehrman Group (GLG) includes nine professionals based in Singapore. Associates in this team report to the Senior Manager of Client Solutions for Private Markets and work closely with colleagues across functions, teams, and regions. Together, the team supports private equity and venture capital clients throughout Southeast Asia.
Role Overview
The Associate, Client Solutions (Private Markets) role focuses on supporting private market clients in Southeast Asia. This position involves direct interaction with leading private equity and venture capital investors across the Asia-Pacific region. Associates connect these clients with industry experts, helping to inform investment decisions and expand professional networks.
What You Will Do
- Execute time-sensitive projects to help GLG clients make informed investment decisions. Analyze client requests, identify and qualify relevant experts, and deliver insights that influence strategies.
- Build and maintain relationships with GLG’s network of thought leaders across various industries. Recruit senior executives and consultants to join the GLG Councils through research, networking, and outreach.
- Organize and facilitate client events, including small-group discussions and private meetings between GLG Network Members and clients.
- Strengthen relationships with investment professionals in the Asia-Pacific region through in-person meetings, collaborative projects, and ongoing engagement.
- Collaborate with international account teams to execute strategic account plans, aiming to drive revenue growth and maintain client satisfaction.
