Qualifications

Required Experience and Skills:Two to four years in public accounting or related transactional roles. Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, verbal, and written communication abilities. Strong capacity to meet project deadlines while maintaining focus. Meticulous attention to detail. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (especially PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams) is essential. Professional certification or license in accounting (CPA), finance (CFA), and/or fraud examination (CFE) is preferred. Willingness to travel moderately (25-50%). Bachelor's degree in finance and/or accounting is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with clients in a timely and professional manner through various communication channels, including email, phone, and face-to-face meetings.
  • Conduct thorough testing to analyze and confirm data accuracy.
  • Document testing outcomes and any anomalies in a clear and concise manner.
  • Utilize business, accounting, finance, and analytical skills to address diverse client scenarios and practice disciplines, including due diligence on balance sheets and profit and loss statements, selecting representative data samples for in-depth testing, preparing receivable/payable aging, roll-forwards, and financial modeling.
  • Draft comprehensive analyses, presentations, quantitative exhibits, and reports for external parties.
  • Develop work products that are adaptable, comprehensible, and user-friendly for team members.
  • Maintain consistent communication with clients and internal team members throughout engagements, keeping senior staff updated on progress and challenges.
  • Possess extensive knowledge of all offerings provided by IMA Diligence Services.
  • Recognize and value the significance of diversity, equity, and inclusion among IMA associates.
