Role overview

The Assembly Lead oversees teams in the manufacturing area at the Conroe, Texas facility. This position assigns daily tasks, clarifies responsibilities, and monitors workflow to ensure company policies are followed. The Assembly Lead also provides training and support for team members, and collaborates with management to improve production processes.

Main responsibilities

  • Supervise staff to meet production goals by organizing and monitoring daily workflow.
  • Set job expectations, plan and assess outcomes, and support employee growth through coaching and counseling.
  • Recruit, onboard, train, and mentor new team members.
  • Maintain efficient operations by monitoring processes, setting operational variables, observing control points, and identifying opportunities for cost reduction.
  • Develop and execute production plans by scheduling personnel, setting priorities, resolving issues, and reporting on production flow.
