Minimum Qualifications:At least five (5) years of experience in concrete or paving construction. Preferred background in concrete construction. Experience operating heavy machinery is a must. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Self-motivated, safety-oriented, and a team player. Interpersonal skills will be evaluated during the interview process.

Position: Foreman

Location: Charlotte, NC

Keeley Construction is on the lookout for a skilled Foreman to lead our Paving Division in Charlotte, North Carolina. In this role, you will oversee daily field operations, support craft personnel, and drive project objectives relating to safety, productivity, quality, and adherence to timelines. Collaboration with management and project supervisors will be key to efficiently executing paving and concrete projects.

The ideal candidate is a proactive leader in the field, acting as a vital support to management, possessing substantial construction experience (especially in concrete), and is tech-savvy.

Responsibilities:

  • Guide and assist your assigned crew in daily tasks, ensuring compliance with company standards and policies.
  • Organize daily operations, delegate tasks, and establish production pace.
  • Manage manpower, materials, and equipment effectively for daily operations.
  • Assist in planning daily activities based on production targets and site conditions.
  • Communicate material and equipment needs to supervisory staff.
  • Interpret plans and specifications to guarantee accurate completion of work.
  • Demonstrate leadership by prioritizing safety and quality in all actions.
