The Application Support Analyst plays a pivotal role in delivering both functional and technical support for Trade Finance applications at RAKBANK. You will ensure that issues are documented, tracked, addressed, and resolved in a timely manner, in line with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and RAKBANK IT & Business compliance standards. This position involves close collaboration with business users and software vendors to provide effective solutions and troubleshoot issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Functional Support: Provide in-depth functional support for wholesale banking systems, particularly in treasury, trade finance, and cash management, ensuring smooth integration and optimal performance.
- Incident Management: Efficiently manage and resolve incidents related to application issues to minimize business disruption.
- System Configuration: Supervise the configuration and customization of applications according to business needs.
- Vendor Management: Cultivate relationships with application vendors, ensuring adherence to SLAs and prompt issue resolution.
- Business Analysis: Perform business analysis and gather requirements to facilitate application enhancements and new implementations.
- Disaster Recovery: Formulate and execute IT disaster recovery plans for wholesale banking applications, ensuring data availability and system resilience.
- Training: Offer comprehensive training and support to end-users, enabling them to utilize banking applications effectively.
- Reporting: Create and maintain management information reports and dashboards using relevant tools.
- Preventive Measures: Anticipate application issues and implement proactive measures to enhance system stability and performance.
