The Role

In response to our expansion into a new domain, we are looking for an Application Scientist (Mesoscale / Coarse-Grained Force Fields) to connect our cutting-edge AI models with real-world industrial material challenges.

Your Impact

In this pivotal role, you will be developing mesoscale simulation frameworks and coarse-grained force field methodologies that link molecular discovery to macroscopic material performance. This is essential for delivering high-impact, actionable breakthroughs to our global clientele.

Initially, your primary focus will be on leading technical delivery for 1-2 key client projects, serving as the subject matter expert in mesoscale phenomena. Over time, you will play a key role in enhancing our ML platform’s capabilities from atomic levels to larger-scale structures necessary for next-generation polymers, membranes, and complex fluids.

What You Will Do

Method Development & Research

  • Design and execute innovative coarse-graining strategies to facilitate the simulation of extensive material systems.

  • Create and optimize mesoscale force fields, particularly utilizing Martini 3 and related frameworks.

  • Collaborate with our AI Research team to integrate machine learning (ML) models into mesoscale simulation workflows.

Partner Project Execution

  • Engage closely with our early partners to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
