This hands-on position offers a unique opportunity to tackle real-world challenges in reasoning, evaluation, and model behavior, enhancing the claims decision-making process.
In this fast-paced environment, you will engage in model experimentation, build evaluation tools, refine agent workflows, and work with complex insurance data. We seek a curious individual who thrives on solving technical issues and is eager to see their ideas rapidly transformed into products.
This is a full-time internship, with start dates negotiable. Successful interns may transition to full-time positions.
What You’ll Do
- Contribute to AI systems focused on claims decision support and reasoning.
- Develop agent workflows, evaluation pipelines, retrieval logic, and prompt strategies.
- Experiment with LLMs, fine-tuning, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), embeddings, and model selection.
- Stress-test outputs, address failures, and learn to engineer robust systems.
- Implement rapid iterations based on customer feedback to resolve complex challenges efficiently.
- Develop internal tools, dashboards, and analysis frameworks that enhance our core product.
What We’re Looking For
- A strong enthusiasm for working with LLMs and handling real-world data.
- A problem-solver who enjoys tackling complex issues and testing innovative solutions.
- A proactive individual willing to take ownership of projects.
- A comfort with dealing with messy data, ambiguity, and the iterative nature of developing AI systems.
