Your Role and Responsibilities

The Advanced Solar Field Service Technician (Operations and Maintenance) in our Renewables division plays a crucial role in the operation and maintenance of solar power plants located near Bronx, New York. This position involves performing physical labor tasks while adhering to established maintenance standards, ensuring the safety and professionalism of our operations. Candidates should reside within 50 miles of the Bronx area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute preventative and corrective maintenance on Solar Utility and Sub-Station equipment.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including work orders, time logs, inventory control, and emergency schedules.
  • Utilize digital multi-meters, meggers, amp clamps, and similar tools for troubleshooting electrical components.
  • Test and troubleshoot installed solar equipment to ensure optimal functioning.
  • Possess a strong safety background with experience in Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA).
  • Work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Safely operate and maintain a motor vehicle in compliance with the PEARCE Renewables Employee Handbook and insurance standards.
