About the job

The Bureau of Environmental Disease Prevention is dedicated to safeguarding community health by preventing environmental diseases and promoting health equity in homes, workplaces, and communities. We are seeking a motivated Administrative Assistant to provide essential support to our daily operations across five programs within the Bureau. You will report directly to the Senior Administrative Manager, who leads administrative efforts within the Bureau.

Key Responsibilities:
- Act as Facilities Liaison
- Maintain the reception desk and serve as a Customer Service Representative
- Manage the receipt and distribution of all incoming and outgoing mail/packages
- Supply office materials to Bureau staff as needed
- Assist staff in preparing folders, packages, mass mailings, and other materials
- Submit and track General Administrative requests, including work IDs and Tribunal ID numbers
- Address scheduling inquiries for new hires and manage Citytime schedule requests
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
