About the Role

Verkada is in the process of constructing a top-tier sales team and is on the lookout for enthusiastic, results-oriented Sales Executives to join our Northeast division. This team is pivotal in driving new business within mid-sized enterprises across diverse sectors such as Technology, Finance, Healthcare, Retail, Manufacturing, and Professional Services throughout the Northeastern United States.

We are dedicated to fostering a vibrant in-office culture. This position necessitates your presence at our Flatiron office five days a week, with relocation assistance available if required.

What You'll Do

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities to consistently achieve or surpass quarterly sales targets.
  • Develop a deep understanding of Verkada's products and their positioning within the market.
  • Manage the complete sales process: prospect new clients, conduct online demonstrations, draft proposals, and finalize agreements.
  • Ensure precise pipeline management with expert-level forecasting.
  • Persistently exceed performance metrics through outbound communications, online presentations, and trial offerings each quarter.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert for clients and channel partners.
  • Collaborate closely with Channel Partners and Technical Support to facilitate smooth product launches and stimulate future growth.
  • Relay market and client insights to Verkada’s product and engineering teams.

What You Bring

  • A minimum of 2 years of sales experience in a target-driven role.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of building relationships and delivering strong presentations.
  • Adeptness in a fast-paced, competitive startup environment.
  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce is advantageous.
  • Strong motivation, a desire to learn, and a results-driven mindset.
