Hootsuite is hiring an Account Executive for Mid-Market Sales based in Toronto. This hybrid role focuses on building new business across key industries, connecting with potential clients, and guiding them to select Hootsuite as their social media management partner. Candidates should live within commuting distance of Toronto.
What You Will Do
- Acquire new mid-market customers by managing internal leads and meeting individual sales quotas.
- Oversee the full sales cycle: demonstrate value, negotiate, close deals, and consistently forecast and achieve monthly revenue targets.
- Research market trends and develop strong relationships with clients, recommending tailored solutions from Hootsuite's product suite to address business needs.
- Identify and suggest relevant third-party partner solutions to strengthen customer offerings and sharpen Hootsuite’s competitive position.
- Deliver product presentations and demonstrations that show how Hootsuite’s solutions can help prospective clients. Complete technical documentation such as RFIs and RFPs when required.
- Work with pre-sales and post-sales teams to resolve challenges and support customer success and satisfaction.
- Track and report on sales activities and results using Salesforce, Sales Navigator, and 6Sense.
- Ensure smooth handoffs to implementation and customer support teams for new clients after closing sales.
- Engage with existing commercial clients to align Hootsuite’s offerings with their specific social media goals and maximize value.
- Mentor and support new team members as they develop their sales skills.
- Take on additional related duties as needed.
