The Role:

We are seeking an Enterprise Account Executive to catalyze Modal’s growth by engaging with the world’s most forward-thinking AI companies. In this pivotal role, you will take ownership of the entire sales cycle—from pipeline development to closing significant, strategic enterprise agreements. You will collaborate directly with our founders, engineering, and product teams to empower customers in leveraging Modal’s infrastructure for training, deploying, and scaling AI applications.

You will be expected to adopt a builder mentality: cultivating new relationships, shaping our go-to-market strategy, and representing the voice of the customer within Modal. The ideal candidate is both technically inquisitive and commercially oriented—equally at ease conversing with C-level executives and machine learning engineers. In this role, you will:

  • Generate new business by creating a robust pipeline, negotiating, and finalizing complex enterprise deals

  • Cultivate deep, trusted relationships with key technical and executive stakeholders at leading AI firms

  • Conduct proof-of-concepts and pilots in close partnership with our solutions and engineering teams

  • Expand existing accounts by identifying growth opportunities and assisting customers in scaling their workloads

  • Provide structured customer feedback to influence Modal’s product roadmap
