Role Overview
The Senior Vice President of Capital Markets will join the U. S. Debt and Structured Finance team in Atlanta, Georgia. This leader will manage the full sales and execution cycle, from sourcing new business to building lasting relationships with clients, lenders, investors, and sponsors. The role covers every stage of the deal process, including initial outreach, underwriting, marketing, and closing. A deep understanding of CRE and capital markets is essential, along with experience in client communications, investor relations, underwriting, and transaction support.
Key Responsibilities
- Origination and Relationship Development: Build and maintain strong relationships with borrowers, lenders, investors, and intermediaries. Consistently generate new deal flow and nurture a portfolio of institutional-grade business.
- Capital Strategy: Oversee the entire debt and equity placement process. This includes identifying and sourcing lenders, structuring capital stacks, underwriting, preparing marketing materials, negotiating term sheets, and managing all parties through closing.
- Market Expertise: Provide informed advice based on a thorough understanding of CRE capital markets, lender criteria, and current market trends. Guide clients on strategy, risk, and execution options.
- Technology Utilization: Use technology, workflow automation, and data-driven tools to streamline screening, packaging, and execution. Support a high volume of annual transactions with professional and efficient processes.
