Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience in electrical design and/or engineering, particularly within data center infrastructure, or a demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. Professional Engineer License (P. E.) or Professional Engineer Designation (P. Eng) is mandatory. Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering combined with at least ten (10) years of relevant experience in electrical design and/or engineering focused on data center infrastructure, or a demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. Extensive experience in electrical engineering for data centers or other critical facilities. Thorough knowledge of NEC (NFPA70). Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to cultivate and maintain strong client relationships. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

AECOM is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer specializing in hyper-scale data centers to lead our electrical engineering efforts. The successful candidate will be tasked with the design, implementation, and maintenance of electrical systems integral to large-scale data centers. This role is fully remote and can be based from any of AECOM's U. S. offices.
As an Electrical Engineer, you will be pivotal in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and safety of our data center infrastructure. The ideal applicant will possess a robust background in electrical engineering and significant experience in high-density data centers.
This position offers the flexibility of a remote work schedule, with opportunities to work from various locations within the U. S. where AECOM has an office.
While primarily remote, occasional travel may be required for client meetings, key project milestones, onsite collaboration sessions, or other critical business activities. Travel will be infrequent and scheduled in advance.
