Role overview
The Program Manager, Issue Management, leads the execution of Upstart’s issue management program. This position manages reporting, oversees communications, and coordinates with multiple teams to ensure compliance with service level agreements. Preparing for audits, maintaining detailed documentation, and aligning with OCC and FDIC standards are central to the role. The Program Manager also analyzes data to identify risk and provides strategic recommendations that support Upstart’s move toward a bank operating model.
Team focus
The Issue Management team works across departments to track, report, and resolve issues. Their efforts support transparency and operational rigor, helping Upstart meet the requirements of a bank-regulated environment.
