In this role, you will design advanced instrumentation and control systems specifically for Data Centers. Your projects will vary from high-level conceptual designs to detailed site designs and retrofits, including factory testing of equipment and overseeing construction administration. You will work closely with various engineering disciplines, subconsultants, clients, vendors, and contractors to ensure that Data Center Building Management Systems are accurately designed and executed. You will oversee the management of your tasks, including the Building Management System (BMS) design, specifications, and drawings. Occasional travel to project sites may be required for meetings, information gathering, and construction oversight.Key responsibilities include:Choosing and specifying process instrumentation.Selecting and specifying Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Human Machine Interface (HMI) equipment.Identifying and specifying networking components and media, including copper, fiber, and wireless hardware.Developing control system (BMS) sequences of operations.Reviewing submittals and conducting field inspections.Managing tasks efficiently.
