Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes; guarantee timely and accurate financial reporting. Prepare and review internal financial statements, providing variance analysis and insightful commentary. Establish and maintain internal controls and accounting best practices across client environments. Ensure clients comply with U.S. GAAP and any applicable regulatory requirements. Collaborate with client tax advisors and auditors as necessary. Train, supervise, and mentor client accounting staff or offshore support teams. Engage with US Controllers, CFOs, and senior finance leadership to deliver valuable insights and facilitate strategic decision-making for clients. Assist in developing and implementing financial policies, procedures, and system enhancements. Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management initiatives. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation preferred. Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a Controller capacity. Experience working with small to mid-sized businesses, preferably within a multi-client or outsourced CFO/controller environment. Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and internal control frameworks. Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, Xero, or similar platforms. Advanced Excel capabilities and experience with cloud-based financial tools. Outstanding organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
