We are seeking a talented Senior QA Engineer to become a vital part of a well-established American EdTech company, a pioneer in the industry since the 1990s. In this role, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality of high-traffic native applications (iOS, Android, and Desktop) utilized by millions of users globally.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong engineering background, with an in-depth understanding of client-server architecture. You should be adept at exploring microservices and comfortable analyzing logs to pinpoint the root causes of issues.
Key Details:
- Long-term B2B contract with a US-based organization.
- Completely remote work (GMT 0 - GMT+2 time zone).
- Internal communication in Russian/Ukrainian; documentation and meetings conducted in English with the US office.
- Workload comprises 70% Manual Testing and 30% Automation.
Responsibilities
- Conduct end-to-end testing for native applications across iOS, Android, and Desktop platforms.
- Validate intricate client-server interactions, including data synchronization and offline functionality.
- Perform in-depth debugging using Charles Proxy, Xcode, Android Studio, and Linux CLI tools.
- Examine backend logs (Kibana, Grafana) to troubleshoot issues within distributed systems.
- Maintain and enhance the existing automation framework utilizing Ruby and RSpec.
- Work collaboratively with product teams based in the US and local developers in an Agile environment.
