Role Overview
Wound Care Physicians provide direct care to patients with chronic wounds, primarily within nursing facilities. The role centers on hands-on treatment using advanced wound healing techniques, including debridement, specialized dressings, and biological therapies such as amniotic tissue applications. The goal is to help patients heal and regain their quality of life.
What You Will Do
- Deliver comprehensive wound care to patients in nursing facilities
- Perform debridement and apply specialized dressings
- Utilize biological therapies, including amniotic tissue, when appropriate
- Collaborate with a supportive team to enhance patient outcomes
Training and Professional Development
- 36 hours of CME provided at no cost

Compensation and Benefits
- Full-time physicians typically start between $250,000 and $300,000 annually
- Potential to earn up to $400,000 with additional services and performance bonuses
- Per-patient visit and per-procedure compensation
- Quarterly bonus program (up to 30% additional income)
- Reimbursement for biological skin substitute applications
