Required Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.- Active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain SCI after hire.- DoD 8570 Certification (Security+ or higher).- Proven experience with Microsoft Windows Server and Windows administration.- Hands-on Citrix administration experience.- Knowledge of cloud technologies, SOA, and virtualization environments.- Experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, etc.).- Familiarity with systems engineering best practices.- Proficiency in version control systems like Git/GitLab.- Strong documentation and communication skills.- Familiarity with collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence. Preferred Qualifications- Experience with geospatial products.- Citrix and AWS certifications.- SAFe Agile certification.

Join our team as a Systems Engineer, where your expertise in Windows Server and Citrix administration will play a pivotal role in a mission-critical program supporting a federal intelligence customer. This fully onsite position offers a unique opportunity to contribute directly to national security operations by ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of advanced geospatial and cloud-based systems.
We are in search of a proactive self-starter who excels in complex technical environments, possesses advanced skills in Windows system administration, and has hands-on experience with Citrix in enterprise or government settings.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead initiatives for system changes, enhancements, and long-term improvements.
- Collaborate with government and contractor stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve intricate incidents.
- Proactively suggest and implement configuration adjustments to enhance performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Roll out security patches, hotfixes, and updates across both test and production environments.
- Maintain and update essential system databases with new data and configuration details.
- Create, document, and refine operational and security SOPs, troubleshooting guides, and technical diagrams.
- Ensure the stability of mission-critical systems through monitoring, incident response, and remediation actions.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Active Top Secret clearance with the capability to obtain SCI post-hire.
- DoD 8570 Certification (Security+ or higher).
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Windows Server and Windows administration.
- Practical experience in Citrix administration.
- Knowledge of cloud, SOA, and virtualization environments.
- Familiarity with AWS technologies (EC2, S3 Buckets, Reserved Instances, etc.).
- Understanding of systems engineering and sustainment best practices.
- Proficiency in Git/GitLab or other version control systems.
- Strong documentation skills, including VDDs, diagrams, and SOPs.
- Experience with collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence.

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous experience supporting geospatial products or programs.
- Citrix certifications.
- AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, Developer, DevOps Engineer, etc.).
- SAFe Agile certification.
