Role overview
The Water Resources Engineer II supports the design and delivery of stream and wetland restoration, stormwater management, and nature-based infrastructure projects. This position is based in either Louisville or Frankfort, Kentucky, and involves close collaboration with engineers, scientists, and project managers throughout RES.
What you will do
- Design and model stream and wetland restoration projects
- Contribute to stormwater management and nature-based infrastructure solutions
- Perform technical analyses in hydrology, hydraulics, and ecological design
- Work closely with internal teams throughout all phases of projects
- Travel occasionally to project sites for assessments, construction support, and quality assurance or control reviews
