Role Overview
The Warehouse Associate (1st Shift) in Louisville, Kentucky plays a key part in receiving, storing, retrieving, and packaging inventory. This role focuses on accuracy and efficiency throughout all warehouse operations.
Main Responsibilities
- Store products accurately using warehouse equipment, aiming for a 99.95% accuracy rate.
- Pick products from shelves to fill customer orders, maintaining a 99.95% accuracy rate.
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents with shipping paperwork, and log inventory into the system.
- Package items for shipment, ensuring 99.95% accuracy, including international orders.
- Help train new team members on inbound and outbound warehouse processes.
- Pick and pack kits with attention to detail.
- Handle hazardous materials safely and follow all safety regulations.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- At least one year of experience in a warehouse or distribution setting.
- Skilled in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Experience using an RF scanner.
