Role Overview
The Waiter/Waitress role at TOCA Social centers on delivering memorable service and helping guests enjoy every aspect of their visit. The position offers the chance to cross-train in other departments, supporting both personal development and career progression.
Key Details

- Reports to: Hospitality Manager
- Hours: 15 hours per week (evening and weekend availability required)
What You Will Do
- Welcome guests and guide them throughout their dining experience
- Take and serve orders, maintaining engagement and attention to detail
- Demonstrate TOCA Social’s boxes and uphold service standards
- Handle guest inquiries and bookings in person and over the phone, with an emphasis on upselling
- Oversee cloakroom and boot room operations when needed
- Present food and drink menus, offering tailored recommendations
- Spot opportunities to surprise and delight guests
- Keep all guest-facing areas clean and well-presented
- Process transactions accurately and remain accountable for sales
- Communicate clearly with teammates to ensure smooth service
- Monitor and maintain stock levels for guest access
- Support kitchen and bar teams as required
