Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:Familiarity with semiconductor wafer manufacturing processes including thin film deposition, ion milling, reactive ion etching, electroplating, photolithography, metrology, sputter etching, and sputter deposition. Understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) systems, applications, and methodologies. Experience with MESA or similar shop floor control systems. Ability to extract, summarize, and interpret process data effectively. Proficient in applying process data for informed decision-making. Knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing principles, and DMAIC processes. Familiarity with SQL or comparable query languages. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and VBA. Experience with project management tools. Demonstrated leadership skills and problem-solving capabilities. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary liaison among manufacturing, maintenance, and engineering teams to guarantee the seamless production of high-quality wafers.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of manufacturing tools while identifying and addressing processing challenges that impact output and product quality.
  • Manage cycle time within designated areas, resolving any work-in-progress (WIP) delays.
  • Engage in troubleshooting tooling or process issues, and collaborate with engineering teams to document and implement necessary changes.
  • Contribute to the training and certification of entry-level operators, enhancing team capabilities.
