Position Overview
The VMS Engineer will leverage their expertise in both IP and analog video systems alongside deployed surveillance technologies to provide global support to field users. This role is vital for troubleshooting, optimizing systems, and ensuring operational efficacy. The ideal candidate will possess robust analytical skills, hands-on networking experience, and the capability to efficiently diagnose and address technical issues.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-level technical support to federal clients
Diagnose and resolve issues within IP and analog video systems
Configure and maintain industry-standard networking and camera technologies
Employ structured troubleshooting methodologies to analyze and reproduce system challenges
Provide oversight to Tier 2 engineering efforts
Produce and enhance technical documentation and training resources
Engage in meetings, technical briefings, and collaborative sessions
Foster effective communication with leadership and field personnel

Required Qualifications
Active Secret Clearance (or higher)
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
A minimum of 5 years of experience in:
Video surveillance systems (both IP-based and analog)
Security camera systems (inclusive of hardware and software)
Network systems administration and deployment
Comprehensive knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, routers, switches, VPNs, NAT, VLANs, firewall configurations)
Experience with IP addressing and network troubleshooting
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented atmosphere
