We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Vice President of Strategy to spearhead the continued growth of our Strategy + Insights division at Walker Sands. This pivotal leadership role requires a blend of strategic acumen, commercial insight, and team leadership, with the objective of enhancing strategic excellence, amplifying client impact, and achieving measurable results for some of the most ambitious B2B brands.
The VP will collaborate closely with leaders across Marketing Strategy, Brand, Creative, Paid Media, Content, PR, Web, and Analytics to create a unified approach to audience insights, brand development, go-to-market strategies, and integrated marketing planning. You will provide mentorship to Directors and Strategists in various disciplines, fostering their growth and elevating the quality of their work, thereby cultivating cohesive and insight-driven marketing initiatives that yield significant business outcomes. Additionally, you will enhance the strategic role and consistency across the agency, ensuring all engagements are rooted in data, relevant insights, and alignment with business goals.
As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will help steer the agency's direction, nurture talent, and develop the systems and thinking that establish Walker Sands as a leader in intelligent, outcomes-focused B2B marketing.
This role is ideal for a collaborative strategist who possesses thought leadership, operational discipline, and a comprehensive understanding of how strategy creates value for both clients and the agency.
Client Strategy + Growth
- Act as a senior strategic advisor for executive-level clients across brand, go-to-market, research, and integrated marketing initiatives.
- Transform business objectives into comprehensive strategies that harmonize creativity, insight, and performance.
- Supervise strategy for high-value accounts, ensuring coherent planning across brand, earned, owned, and paid channels.
- Lead strategic presentations, workshops, and vision-setting sessions.
- Identify opportunities to deepen client relationships through strategic foresight and performance insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to execute unified, insight-driven marketing programs.
