Role Overview

The Vice President of Strategy Execution & Operational Excellence leads the delivery of Vortexa’s most important cross-functional initiatives. Reporting to the COO, this leader ensures teams stay aligned, priorities are clear, and obstacles to execution are removed. The role is hands-on and centers on achieving meaningful results for the business.

Main Responsibilities

  • Partner with the COO and Executive Team: Act as a key extension of the COO, taking real ownership of execution. Work closely with executives to turn strategies into actionable plans and measurable outcomes. Communicate priorities clearly across the company.
  • Lead Cross-Functional Initiatives: Guide major company projects from start to finish, coordinating efforts across multiple functions. Foster alignment, drive execution, and maintain accountability, especially during periods of change or complexity.
  • Refine Operating Cadence: Oversee and improve operational rhythms, such as OKRs, strategic initiatives, business reviews, and leadership updates. Represent the COO in execution-focused discussions and proactively surface execution risks or performance gaps.
  • Drive Operational Excellence: Strengthen the operating model, governance, and decision-making processes to support a culture of accountability and high performance.
