About the job
Orbital is on a mission to make real estate transactions smarter, faster, and more seamless. As the largest asset class in the world, real estate has long relied on slow, manual processes. Legal professionals often navigate complex documents, while clients expect quicker, more transparent due diligence.
Orbital Copilot, our AI-powered assistant for commercial real estate law, was built with input from former real estate attorneys. It speeds up due diligence by up to 70% and delivers reliable, legal-grade accuracy. Our recent $60 million Series B funding supports rapid expansion in both the UK and US.
Respected firms like Goodwin and BCLP trust Orbital to remove repetitive tasks, so legal teams can focus on legal judgment, client service, and closing deals faster. At Orbital, every team member helps reshape real estate transactions by working with agility, collaborating across borders, and making a tangible impact from the start.
Role Overview: Vice President of People
This New York-based position is the most senior People executive at Orbital. Reporting to the COO (in the UK) and working closely with the CEO (in New York), the VP of People leads a team that includes the Principal People Ops Lead and People Enablement Partners in both the UK and US. This role shapes the future of People operations across the company.
Rather than following a set People roadmap, the VP of People will design the people strategy from the ground up, aligning it with Orbital’s vision, operating model, growth plans, and commitment to an AI-first culture.
With Orbital at a key point of growth, this role focuses on more than just scaling headcount. The VP of People will help build an organization that integrates AI, rethinks workflows to maximize automation, and supports managers and teams to thrive in a forward-thinking environment.
