Qualifications

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree is required. 8-10+ years of relevant experience in private markets, investment banking, asset management, or investment consulting. Progress towards or completion of CFA or CAIA is preferred. Demonstrated experience in financial analysis and modeling. Proficiency in Excel is required; familiarity with valuation methodologies such as DCF and peer comparisons is preferred. Proven ability to synthesize complex investment data into concise, client-ready materials. A strong interest in and working knowledge of alternative investments. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with experience engaging senior stakeholders. Highly organized with a keen attention to detail, capable of managing multiple priorities independently. Willingness and ability to travel up to 15% as needed.

About the Role

iCapital Network is seeking a dynamic Vice President to enhance our Fund Monitoring team. This pivotal role entails the comprehensive oversight and analysis of feeder and underlying fund performance across our diverse private market offerings, including private equity, private credit, and real assets. The selected individual will be responsible for delivering insightful investment updates to both internal and external stakeholders, engaging directly with fund managers, and supporting strategic initiatives such as secondary sales and investment oversight decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the monitoring and analysis of fund performance across iCapital’s private equity, private credit, and real asset portfolios.
  • Prepare and present clear, executive-level summaries, investment updates, and discussion points for internal and client-facing stakeholders.
  • Monitor broader macroeconomic developments and trends through regular interactions with iCapital’s fund managers.
  • Represent iCapital at Annual General Meetings (AGMs) and other industry conferences.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on fund portfolios and performance for both internal and external audiences.
  • Develop performance analytics and fund-level financial models.
  • Collaborate closely with the Governance team to support initiatives such as secondary sales and investment oversight decisions.
  • Mentor junior team members, offering guidance on analytical techniques, communication, and professional growth as the function scales.
