In this role, you will bridge the gap between design and technology, utilizing your expertise in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create exceptional user experiences. Collaborating closely with designers, CMS engineers, and product stakeholders, you will develop scalable and high-performing front-end components that translate design ideas into engaging, accessible, and interactive web experiences.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining top-notch front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, prioritizing user experience, performance, and maintainability.
- Transforming Figma designs into pixel-perfect, responsive UI components that are accessible across various devices and browsers.
- Writing structured and semantic HTML that aligns with accessibility standards (WCAG), SEO best practices, and CMS-driven content frameworks.
- Collaborating with UX/UI designers to enhance interactions and usability, refining shared component designs.
- Creating and optimizing reusable UI components for a cohesive and scalable front-end architecture.
- Designing engaging animations and micro-interactions to enhance user experience without affecting performance.
- Continuously improving front-end performance, focusing on load times and rendering efficiency.
- Efficiently debugging front-end issues with a deep understanding of browser behaviors and performance challenges.
- Ensuring technical feasibility of UX designs and suggesting improvements when necessary.
- Working with CMS engineers to integrate front-end components into our Sitecore-based CMS ecosystem.
- Implementing SEO, accessibility, and content structure best practices throughout the development process.
- Utilizing version control (Git) effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Staying current with modern front-end techniques and UX trends to bring innovative ideas to the team.
