Additionally, expertise in SUE (Subsurface Utility Engineering) utility locating and designating equipment within intricate utility infrastructures is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with personnel at all levels, ensuring professionalism and confidentiality.
- Anticipate challenges and offer innovative solutions while providing effective planning oversight.
- Build and nurture customer relationships through exceptional service delivery.
- Align materials, equipment, and inspections with project timelines.
- Manage project schedules and develop look-ahead plans.
- Formulate site logistics plans and oversee company tools, equipment, and materials management.
- Collaborate closely with project partners and office staff to enhance job site productivity.
- Utilize locating devices to accurately map utilities.
- Prepare comprehensive daily reports and field sketches.
- Operate and maintain vacuum excavation vehicles.
- Coaching and Supervisory Duties:
- Facilitate project orientations and strategic planning sessions.
- Supervise and mentor project partners, foremen, and crews.
- Conduct performance evaluations and enforce disciplinary measures as necessary.
- Ensure accurate task coding and oversee work progress.
- Manage team member training and compliance.
- Document accidents and ensure thorough reporting.
- Uphold safety regulations on job sites.
- Conduct safety meetings and manage site safety protocols.
- Identify and implement process improvements.
