Join our dynamic multidisciplinary tunnel engineering team in California as a Tunnel Engineer II at our Oakland office. AECOM is at the forefront of high-profile infrastructure projects across the US and globally, collaborating with local and national governments, water and transportation authorities, and other clients. Our projects span all phases, from feasibility studies to design, construction, operation, maintenance, and asset management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct technical analyses and design support for water infrastructure projects, including the preparation of comprehensive technical reports and memoranda.

  • Develop innovative conceptual layouts and designs, along with supporting calculations and analyses.

  • Draft detailed plans and technical specifications, and assist in construction cost estimation processes.

  • Engage in field roles during construction projects to refine engineering design skills.

  • Ensure design adherence and quality through site inspections and engineering support during construction.

The Oakland team consists of project managers, civil engineers, structural engineers, geotechnical engineers, numerical modelers, and an array of related disciplines.
