Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with a specialization in structures;Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec;Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the execution of bridge and civil works projects;Strong understanding of standards and practices set by the Ministry (MTQ) and/or the Jacques-Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated (PJCCI);Completion of MTQ training in structure maintenance, construction, and repair (an asset);ASP Construction card;Possession of a valid driver's license;Access to a personal vehicle.

Join our dynamic team in the Transport Infrastructure - Project Execution division as a Transport Infrastructure Engineer:

Your Responsibilities:

  • Serve as an assistant to the project manager and site supervisor or as a technical representative, depending on project scale;
  • Oversee on-site activities with the team, ensuring compliance with client requirements and surveillance plans;
  • Assist in the administrative management of projects, track correspondence, and ensure technical and budget follow-ups with clients, contractors, and laboratories;
  • Participate in site meetings, preparing timely reports;
  • Monitor project timelines and ensure work compliance with standards, plans, and specifications;
  • Prepare and verify quantity calculations and payment recommendations;
  • Draft change requests and contract amendments;
  • Analyze disputes and prepare recommendations;
  • Conduct project completion inspections and reporting;
  • Perform other duties related to these objectives.
