The Trade Flow Support Engineer will join a highly skilled team dedicated to ensuring the seamless operation of Squarepoint Capital's essential services, including Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Build & Deploy, Research, and Trading. This role is crucial for delivering Level 1 and Level 2 support across our globally distributed services in the APAC, EMEA, and AMER regions.
- Monitor and provide L1/L2 support across all services, promptly addressing any outages to maintain high availability.
- Quickly identify, analyze, and rectify alerts and issues, escalating them when necessary to minimize trade flow disruptions and prevent outages.
- Engage extensively with the trading community, external vendors, and internal development and infrastructure teams.
- Oversee automated processes, scheduled jobs, and generate regular reports.
- Manage user requests, tracking progress through approval, updates, resolution, and closure.
- Identify and eliminate inefficiencies in repetitive tasks, manual processes, and suboptimal tools/workflows, driving continuous improvements through automation and collaboration.
