Why You’ll Love Working Here
As the Test Automation Team Leader, you will spearhead a team of specialized automation engineers, each a master of their craft, within a dynamic scrum team. This role combines leadership with hands-on involvement—leading by example is key.
Based in Sofia, Bulgaria, our location boasts a vibrant atmosphere and a passionate team of experts dedicated to excellence.
We have recently revamped our automation infrastructure with top-tier technologies, including Playwright, TypeScript, Kubernetes environments, and a UI-less shift at our core, complemented by other industry-standard open-source solutions. Our automation engineers are well-versed in development practices.
Your Responsibilities:
Recruit, mentor, and guide a team of automation developers focused on a large-scale Cloud product.
Accelerate product releases while ensuring top-notch quality through robust collaboration with Development and Production teams.
Act as a pivotal technical leader, working with Automation, Development, Product Management, and Customer Success teams to synchronize strategies and execution.
Oversee high-stakes projects focusing on technical excellence: ensuring Code Review, Test Plans, and standards are consistently upheld and enhanced.
Champion the integration and advancement of AI-driven quality engineering practices, utilizing generative AI and intelligent automation to boost release speeds, improve test coverage, and proactively identify production risks.
We are looking for a leader with a growth mindset, eager to make a significant impact through their work. Candidates should have experience in automation, programming tools, infrastructure knowledge, and advanced testing techniques, both functional and non-functional, along with the ability to challenge our products with a positive attitude.
