As a GIS Industry Solutions Specialist, you will conduct in-depth research and analysis of financial and technological trends impacting the telecommunications market, collaborating with internal stakeholders to define, execute, and assess the effectiveness of the telecommunications marketing strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, oversee, and execute campaign strategies and internal communications that drive success across various platforms, including:
- Conferences, trade shows, seminars, webinars, and workshops
- Marketing collateral such as blogs, white papers, brochures, and articles
- Digital presence through web and social media channels
- Press relations and advertising initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional Esri teams including marketing, sales, product development, international distributors, training, and partners to deliver effective campaigns and generate qualified leads
- Monitor campaign performance continuously and work proactively with internal and external customers to optimize activities
- Research and lead strategic positioning efforts tailored specifically for the telecommunications industry, ensuring validation from industry experts
- Engage with business development and professional services teams to identify industry-specific solution requirements and create targeted offerings
- Nurture a robust user community through printed materials, online forums, and user groups
- Develop a profound understanding of GIS technology and provide product demonstrations and industry insights during press and analyst briefings, partner meetings, and customer engagements
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the telecommunications industry
- Proficient knowledge of GIS and its applications within telecommunications
- Exceptional communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation abilities
- Highly organized and self-motivated, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively
