Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer-facing technical solution or sales role, preferably within the recycling sector. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Environmental Science, or a related field. Strong technical aptitude with the ability to comprehend complex machinery and sensor-based systems. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to work independently and manage a large sales territory. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally 50 - 70% of the time. Comfortable working in customer waste and recycling plants, including outdoor environments with varying temperatures. Familiarity with and experience selling to the waste and recycling industry is a plus.

In this role, you will engage with prospects and customers, showcasing our advanced system capabilities while crafting custom solutions that address their unique needs. Your blend of technical knowledge and sales acumen will be key in accelerating deal velocity and enhancing win rates.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with sales managers to formulate and implement technical sales strategies for crucial opportunities.
  2. Conduct technical discovery sessions to grasp prospect requirements, pain points, and evaluation criteria.
  3. Present product demonstrations that effectively link technical features to tangible business results.
  4. Provide comprehensive responses to technical RFPs and questionnaires.
  5. Offer technical guidance during contract negotiations and tackle implementation challenges.
  6. Design bespoke technical solutions tailored to specific customer requirements and use cases.
  7. Work closely with product teams to ensure proposed solutions are technically feasible.
  8. Draft detailed solution documents and implementation roadmaps.
  9. Foster strong relationships with customers and technical stakeholders.
  10. Guide clients through the solution lifecycle, from ideation to delivery for complex projects.
  11. Gather and document technical feedback to inform product development priorities.
  12. Monitor and analyze leads and technical sales metrics to refine solution positioning.
