About the Position
We are currently looking for a Technical Project Manager – Manufacturing to enhance our team in Santa Catarina, Mexico. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead cross-functional manufacturing programs that deliver high-quality custom mechanical components to our global clientele. You will serve as the primary liaison for assigned projects, ensuring they are completed on schedule, within defined parameters, and within budget.
This role is perfect for a technically adept project leader with practical experience in CNC machining, injection molding, tooling, sheet metal, or similar manufacturing settings, who thrives in dynamic, customer-centric environments.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of manufacturing projects from initiation to production and delivery.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project plans that align with customer needs and company goals.
- Act as the main point of contact for customers regarding project updates, scope clarifications, and issue resolutions.
- Facilitate collaboration between internal teams and external manufacturing partners.
- Recognize project risks, formulate mitigation strategies, and implement recovery plans as necessary.
- Manage post-sale changes to ensure effective technical and operational execution.
- Coordinate technical problem-solving efforts with quality assurance and supplier teams.
- Monitor key project performance metrics and ensure adherence to quality standards.
