We are excited to announce an internal opportunity for the position of Technical Project Manager (TPM) at Maxwell Energy. As a TPM, you will lead innovative concepts from inception through to production. This role involves comprehensive planning, execution, and delivery of projects, while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and engaging directly with customers to ensure alignment on timelines, scope, quality, and expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with engineering teams to establish project scope, timelines, and resource distribution.
- Create and sustain detailed project plans, including milestones, deliverables, and risk assessments.
- Oversee project dependencies and facilitate clear communication among all stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement necessary corrective actions.
- Encourage effective communication and collaboration between engineering, product management, and other departments.
- Manage project budgets and optimize resource utilization.
- Generate and present project status reports to senior management.
- Identify and implement improvements to enhance project efficiency and outcomes.
- Stay current with the latest trends and technologies in embedded hardware development.

- Deep understanding of embedded systems, electronics, and the automotive development lifecycle.

- Proactive approach to risk identification, mitigation, and contingency planning, ensuring compliance with functional safety standards throughout the development lifecycle.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster strong relationships with engineering teams, product managers, customers, and other key stakeholders, effectively managing expectations and providing clear project updates.
- Proficient in technical communication and documentation, capable of translating complex technical concepts into concise documentation for diverse audiences.
- Extensive knowledge of the automotive embedded hardware development lifecycle from concept to production.
