Key Responsibilities:Lead the execution of the vehicle program throughout the New Product Introduction (NPI) development, launch, and sustaining phases, ensuring seamless integration of major subsystems (e.g., powertrain, connectivity, chassis) across all product development stages. Develop and manage program schedules, technical challenges, design release management, and resource allocation in collaboration with engineering and cross-functional teams. This includes overseeing the First Article Test Process (FATP) with contract manufacturers and establishing clear objectives for upstream subsystem builds. Engage with stakeholders to identify program blockers, technical issues, and complex design trade-offs. Facilitate decision-making discussions to align with overall business goals and drive resolutions. Communicate progress and status updates to stakeholders and leadership across various locations and time zones. Proactively resolve issues and manage critical paths as priorities evolve. Understand system-level interactions and develop plans for vehicle Development Verification Protocol (DVP) testing, pilot programs, and field trials. Adapt lean methodologies to suit the program and the needs of the ALSO organization.
